Colshaw Hall Wedding Photography
I am so happy to share this Colshaw Hall Wedding Photography blog. Colshaw Hall is up there as one of Cheshire’s best wedding venues. A Grade II listed building, Colshaw Hall is set in its own grounds within a private estate that is around 300 acres. Located near Knutsford in Cheshire, it was a private home but is now an exclusive use wedding venue, that offers superb service and beautiful surroundings that never fails to disappoint as a wedding venue. Rachel and Ben certainly experienced Colshaw Hall at it’s finest, with over 200 guests it was an incredible wedding day for everyone.
Incredible weather and effort by the team at Colshaw Hall
The day started at Rachel’s parents home in Manchester, where Bridal preparations, presecco and pre wedding excitement was in full flow. It was a pleasure working with the very talented videographer – Mike from Satin Pictures and David from David Scholes Photography for second shooting for me. Before long we headed over to Colshaw Hall and was greeted by some of the most intense rain I have witnessed. The guests waited until the rain eased and then headed over to the Stables to be part of bride and grooms special day. I have to say a big shout out to Ian the Toastmaster and Shelly who is the wedding coordinator at Colshaw Hall as they worked their arses off to make sure everyone got in to the Stables without being soaking wet and the whole day ran incredibly well.
Awesome Sorela at Colshaw Hall
After they had their humanist service, we headed into reception drinks, with entertainment from the very talented Sorela. The enchanting, unique sound of these three sisters singing in close a cappella harmony brings class and magic to every occasion. With a hugely eclectic repertoire this trio go from ‘be my baby’ and ‘Single ladies’ to haunting Celtic tunes flawlessly with a polished yet unpredictable presence. This versatile act adds energy and elegance to every occasion and never disappoints. With excellent audience rapport and natural stage chemistry these sisters have entertained audiences of thousands in a pavilion, fine-tuned ears at Sacred churches and many a merry wedding guest along their time. Today they really didn’t disappoint. After a while we were onto the wedding breakfast and speeches, honestly today’s speeches were some of the best I have heard. Ben’s speech was lovely, heartfelt and you can just tell how much Rachel means to him. Rachel’s dad was incredible and his speech was so funny, it doesn’t happen often but over 20 men who had been on the speech all dropped to their pants – it was brilliant and all of the wedding guests loved it.
The evening party was also superb with the JukeBox Jets a 50’s vintage rock and roll band and DJ Andy Murphy entertaining the guests. There was some seriously awesome dance moves on that dance floor.
