Tyn Dwr Hall Wedding Photography
Wow! Tyn Dwr Hall is a fantastic venue for a wedding. Scott and Kirsty tied the knot at the end of August in this fantastic wedding venue in Llangollen, North Wales. Tyn Dwr Hall is only in it’s first year of weddings but you would never know. A Tudor manor house with stunning gardens and fantastic views is the perfect setting for everyone to enjoy and I am delighted to have been asked to photograph this wedding. I am really looking forward to going back to capturing more weddings at Tyn Dwr Hall.
Bridal Preparations at Tyn Dwr Hall
The day started off photographing Kirsty and her bridesmaids at in the fantastic bridal preparation room, which was great, as a Tyn Dwr Hall wedding photographer capturing the bridal party getting ready was made easier with the gorgeous room and natural light. Hair and Make Up was done by – Made Up – Chirk .Scott arrived for the wedding with his family and groomsmen, I went along to capture some groom-prep prior to the service, I always like trying to move between the two so that the couple get both perspectives of the day and can see what happened on the morning. Scott got ready in the bridal suite before heading to the bar for a couple of drinks to calm the pre wedding nerves.
Tyn Dwr Hall Wedding Photography
Scott and Kirsty were married in Tyn Dwr Hall itself which has a lovely light ceremony room, surrounded by friends and family they said their I do’s before heading off into reception drinks. Typical Welsh weather was a bit hit and miss, but before long the sun came out and we all moved outside for canapés and drinks. After a couple of hours of mingling with guests and everyone having fun, the guests moved inside for the wedding breakfast, we went off for a walk for couple portraits around the grounds, with lovely scenery, a small lake and the beautiful Welsh countryside we captured some lovely couple photos in a relaxed and natural way – perfect for what the lovely couple wanted.
The bride and groom were soon welcomed into the wedding breakfast, the catering was by Wild Garlic Events and was fantastic. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food and we were soon onto the speeches which were very funny – with two best men you can expect to have the piss taken out of you – this certainly happened to Scott (With one best man being shall we say – rather tipsy!)
Andy Murphy Wedding DJ
Once the wedding breakfast finished Andy Murphy was in charge of the entertainment and didn’t disappoint. A highly recommended DJ who is sure to keep everyone entertained. The newly weds and all the guests had a great time, with plenty of dancing as the drinks were flowing!

Relaxed, Natural and Unobtrusive Wedding Photography
My style of photography is relaxed, natural and unobtrusive, capturing the day as it happens. What that means is almost completely unposed wedding photography throughout the whole day. I want you to spend time with your friends and family and ignore me. I am a really laid back and relaxed wedding photographer that will capture your wonderful day as it happens, with minimal fuss and no waiting around.
