Thornton Manor Wedding Photography
Photographing weddings at Thornton Manor is real privilege and 3 years ago I photographed Adam & Jade’s wedding. Surrounded by friends and family in early April 2017 this lovely couple tied the knot at Thornton Manor, The large house is a grade II listed building situated on the Wirral. This spectacular wedding venue is more impressive every time I am lucky enough to be a Thornton Manor Wedding Photographer.
This brilliant wedding day started with bridal preparations in the bridal suite in the manor housewhich over looks the beautiful grounds, with large bay windows it really is a perfect place to get ready for the big day. Jade, her mum, bridesmaids and flower girls – Maddison and Poppy all had their hair and make up by The Boutique and Pip Upton – it was such a nice atmosphere all morning – Jade was so calm all morning it was great. A little emotional before putting on the dress after receiving gifts and a letter from her groom. For a short time I left Jade to meet up with the groom – Adam to capture him opening his gifts from his soon to be wife – I knew this was going to be a good day after meeting them both.
Adagio String Quartet & Reception Drinks at Thornton Manor
A lovely ceremony in Thornton Manor for this fantastic couple was soon followed by reception drinks and canapés. Adagio String Quartet during their reception drinks and Canapés. I love capturing this part of the wedding, it is really important to me to let the bride and groom spend time with their friends and family and today was no different. All of their friends and family were having a great time and the drinks were flowing. We were lucky enough to spend the majority of the time outside in the beautiful grounds of this fantastic Manor House.
Natural, Creative & Relaxed Couple Photos
I can’t believe it has been three years since photographing this wedding. Just before the Wedding Breakfast we headed off for 20 minutes into the grounds of the Manor for some relaxed couple photos. These two were so much fun during the whole day – it is clear to see how much they love each other and how well they get on. After some couples portraits at Thornton Manor, it was straight into speeches before the wedding breakfast was served. Heartfelt, funny and all round great speeches – a fitting tribute to the lovely couple.

What the couple said about Andy Griffiths Photography at Thornton Manor
“We are so glad we chose Andy as our wedding photographer. He was so relaxed and was able to capture lots of special moments throughout the day. Very professional and friendly and he made us both feel very relaxed.”
Relaxed, Natural and Unobtrusive Wedding Photography
My style of photography is mainly documentary, capturing the day as it happens in a natural and relaxed manner. What that means is almost completely unposed wedding photography throughout the whole day. I want you to spend time with your friends and family and ignore me. I am a really laid back and relaxed wedding photographer that will get along with you and your guests and capture your wonderful day as it happens, with minimal fuss and no waiting around. If you want to get in touch with me about me being your Thornton Manor Wedding Photographer please get in contact.
