Event Photography Awards 2017I am really excited to share with you the fact that I have been named as a finalist for the 2017 Event Photography Awards which are an International Award. They are open to anyone involved in events and the hospitality industry. All participants are recognised for “the moment” captured in any of the categories. I am shortlisted for the Wedding Award, and the Awards Ceremony is on the 27th of April 2017 – with free champagne and canapés, I can’t wait to attend – I will let you know how I get on (and how the canapés and champagne were)
Moments Captured
For me I am asked to photograph moments all the time and I constantly looking for those special moments between the bride, groom and guests. The photograph below “Dad’s Dance” was captured at Shrigley Hall on New Years Eve. I was photographing the dance but noticed Mum was getting a little upset – next minute her hand was drawn to her face – you can tell just by looking at her just how much love there is between this family.
