Thornton Manor Wedding Photography
Thornton Manor was Julie and Mike’s choice of wedding venue for their special day in September, and what a fantastic wedding it was. I was really pleased to be their Thornton Manor wedding photographer for the day. There is so much love and happiness between this family it would have been hard for this day not to be great.
Thornton Manor is a large house in the village of Thornton Hough, Wirral, Merseyside. This spectacular venue is a grade II listed building which makes for a fantastic wedding photographs. Built in the middle of the 19th century and this wedding venue is the perfect location to get married in whether you are in the manor house or in any of the wedding marquees. Within its gardens are fantastic photo locations with gorgeous architecture, lighting and backdrops that will help create unique wedding photographs and as a Thornton Manor Wedding Photographer this is a venue that I love to get creative with my camera and my couples in order to get some photos that are unique and different.
Julie, her bridesmaids, flower girls and page boy Dexter got ready at home with hair and make up done by Anna. They were then picked up by Limo Scene Wedding Cars and headed over to Thornton Manor.
Architecture, Canapés and More
Julie and Mike got married in the manor house, with a fantastic honeymoon suite, glorious rooms and a hall with incredible architecture and space the wedding day went perfectly. The sun was shining, the canapés were fantastic and the bride and groom were surrounded with lovely friends and family, everyone from the page boy Dexter to grandparents looked like they really enjoyed this wedding.
Confetti Gun and Ice Smoke First Dance Surprise
In the evening the wedding entertained was by DJ Ian Cank. Julie and Mike surprised their wedding guests, with a confetti gun and “Ice smoke” for their first dance which really got the wedding party started and made for some great wedding photographs. The dance floor was full in no time, giving me the opportunity to join them with my camera, capturing people enjoying themselves through the lens.
Documentary, Relaxed and Creative Wedding Photography
My style of photography is mainly documentary style, capturing the day as it happens. What that means is almost completely unposed wedding photography throughout the whole day. I want you to spend time with your friends and family and ignore me. I am a really laid back and relaxed wedding photographer that will get along with you and your guests and capture your wonderful day as it happens, with minimal fuss and no waiting around.
