The Inn at Whitewell Wedding Photography |Dom & Sarah
A Inn at Whitewell Wedding has to be one of most fantastic and most scenic venues to get married in Lancashire’s and it is easy to see why. I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph Sarah and Dom’s wedding at the Inn at Whitewell, located just outside Clitheroe and built in the 1300s. The Inn at Whitewell is situated in the stunning Forest of Bowland. The views all around the Inn at Whitewell are just amazing and it is a beautiful backdrop for photos. Even more so today as we were lucky enough to have snow everywhere thanks to the Beast from the East. It didn’t stop the fantastic bride and groom Sarah& Dom from enjoying their day.
The day started off at the Piggeries with the bride and her family and bridesmaids. The Piggeries is part of the Inn at Whitewell and a short walk from the church and the Inn at Whitewell and is where Sarah and her stunning bridesmaids had their hair and make up done by Sam Gately on hair and Lucie – MUA.
Wedding Dress – Charlotte by Charlotte Balbier
Sarah chose her dress from Kimberley Anne bridal boutique, based in Clitheroe, Lancashire. With a collection of wedding dresses, bridal accessories and bridesmaids dresses are carefully and thoughtfully chosen from the best and most talented British Designers.
St Michaels Church – Inn at Whitewell
Next door to the Inn at Whitewell is the beautiful St Michaels Church, Dom & Sarah tied the knot in this perfectly located and lovely, intimate church. I would highly recommend anyone getting married in this church it is just stunning and in such a good position for weddings taking place at the Inn at Whitewell. Wedding receptions at the Inn at Whitewell take place in a beautiful marquee connected to the side of the venue, the marquee looked absolutely incredible and the staff were all great to work with and couldn’t do enough for the newlyweds.
Couples portraits during the beast from the East
The Forest of Bowland provides such a stunning place for couples portraits in the snow. It was bitterly cold on this lovely wedding day so we didn’t have long. We went for a quick walk down by the piggeries and along the stream. It was a bit to risky to go to the stepping stones today.
After couples photos at the Inn at Whitewell we headed back and straight into speeches and the wedding breakfast. The food was lovely. The night time was soon here and the groomsmen all got changed and looked incredibly smart. The atmosphere on the dance floor was brilliant all night thanks to Wonderfolk who
