Marquee Wedding Photography
This marquee wedding was an absolute joy for me to capture, I have known the bride and groom for years having attended university with Daf and meeting Sian about 10 years ago when she went to university in my home town. This wedding was so much fun from the early morning where I spent time at Lake Vrynwy hotel with both the groom and his groomsmen getting ready before heading over to the gorgeous bride, bridesmaids and flower girls right up until the end of their marquee reception that was in the hills over looking the beautiful welsh countryside.
St Michael’s Village Church & a Marquee Wedding
After saying “I do” in the village church which is a 30 second walk from Sian’s family home (which is also the world famous Goat Public House). Daf, Sian and I went off to Lake Vrynwy – for some relaxed photos overlooking the lake – which is simply stunning backdrop. Soon after we headed back to the marquee for reception drinks, canapés and a brilliant Welsh Male Voice Choir to entertain the guests. This marquee was simply incredible – the scenery and the effort made by Daf and Sian was outstanding. After the wedding breakfast came the speeches and Daf had a little surprise for Sian – Daf’s dad joined the him with his guitar and sang for Sian, soon to be joined by close family – a truly great end to the speeches that Sian found a little emotional as did a few of the wedding guests.
Welsh Folk Dancing / Dawnsio Gwerin
I’ve rarely seen so many people in one place having so much fun, the entertainment throughout was brilliant with a Dawnsio Gwerin or Welsh folk dancing which has so many people up and learning some traditional dances, a magician and photo booth for guests to enjoy themselves and really get involved. I loved this wedding and was so pleased to be able to join them for their special day both as a guest and as their wedding photographer.

Documentary, Relaxed and Marquee Wedding Photography
My style of photography is mainly documentary style, capturing the day as it happens. What that means is almost completely unposed wedding photography throughout your wedding day. I want you to spend time with your friends and family and ignore me. I am a really laid back and relaxed wedding photographer that will capture your wonderful day as it happens, with minimal fuss and no waiting around. If you are having a marquee wedding or getting married anywhere else then please get in contact to discuss me being your wedding photographer.
