Marquee Wedding Photography

What a fun, loving and happy couple these two are. Maria and Callum got married in Pembrokeshire at Haverfordwest’s Registry Office in front of Maria’s Mexican family and Callum’s close family. Shortly after their brilliant wedding car was driven to the family home by Callum for a massive marquee wedding surrounded by friends and family from far and wide. I loved being a marquee wedding photographer at this brilliant Welsh/ Mexican wedding. After canapés, welcome drinks and laughter, Callum, Maria and I went for a walk around the wonderful grounds that the marquee was set in for a walk around the lake – just natural, relaxed photos and an opportunity for the newly weds to take in the events of the day and spend sometime together. Shortly after, we were soon on to wedding speeches which were funny, emotional and full of laughter and love is how I would sum this wedding up!

Wedding Tequila Shots and Vibora De Le Mar

After the wedding breakfast I was introduced to a ‘Vibora De Le Mar’ a Mexican tradition at weddings which is basically where everyone get’s up dances along in a line to then be given Tequila – not sure if this is always the same but it certainly worked in this marquee wedding – almost everyone was up and partying and enjoy some Tequila – some more than others!

Throwing of the bouquet, pulling down of the garter all followed before the first dance, Maria – a professional dancer giving a lovely dance for both her new husband in front of all the wedding guests. It was then onto the first dance and night time where the DJ had so many people up and dancing it was a great atmosphere and a perfect way to end this awesome wedding.
