Lancashire Wedding Photography | Stanley House
I thought I would share a small selection of my favourite images from a wedding I photographed at Stanley House, one of Lancashire’s best venues capturing the wedding of Lauren and James. As a Lancashire Wedding Photographer I love working across the county. Stanley House Hotel is a beautiful, award winning hotel set in over 50 acres wonderful Ribble valley countryside. Lauren and her bridesmaids got ready at Stanley House and this is where I met them. I soon left and headed up to the church. It was a cold and sunny winters morning for this one. It was great working with another photographer for this wedding, David Scholes is a great bloke and photographer – thanks for having me along.
After the church we travelled back to Stanley House for canapés, reception drinks and of course couple photos. Stanley House has some really nice grounds with a beautiful little lake. James and Lauren spent 20 minutes away from friends and family whilst having sometime to themselves. As a wedding photographer I pride myself on ensuring my couples are able to spend as much time with their friends and family. Couples always say “oh we were at a wedding and the couple were away for hours, we don’t want that” and neither do I because capturing your wedding in a natural, relaxed and unobtrusive way is exactly how it should be. I loved working at Stanley House and can’t wait to return to photograph another special wedding later in 2017.

My style of photography is mainly documentary style with an occasional creative twist! Capturing the day as it happens in a natural, relaxed and unobtrusive way. What that means is almost completely unposed wedding photography throughout your wedding day. I want you to spend time with your friends and family and ignore me. I am a really laid back and a relaxed wedding photographer that will capture your wonderful day as it happens, with minimal fuss and no waiting around.
