Lake Vrynwy Engagement Shoot

Picture of the dam

Last year I met up with Daf and Sian to discuss their plans for their wedding. Lake Vrynwy is in Mid Wales and is not far from where the great couple will tie the knot. Not only am I lucky to be photographing their wedding in August, but I am also good friends with Daf and Sian, I am from the same town in Mid Wales as Dafydd and also went to university with him. I am really looking forward to attending this wedding both as a photographer but also to enjoy seeing two close friends getting married.

Lake Vrynwy is a reservoir in Powys. Its a stone built dam built in the 1880’s.  It was the first of its kind in the world and was built to supply liverpool and Merseyside with fresh water – it is really a beautiful part of the world.

I love shooting couples in a natural, unobtrusive way – especially when the backdrop is as beautiful as this. As a Lancashire wedding photographer – I am happy to photograph weddings anywhere in the country. Please just send me an email and lets discuss your plans.
