Formby Woods Engagement Shoot

Last week I headed to Formby Woods for Sarah and Jim’s engagement shoot. Sarah and Jim were great fun to photograph, it was also great to hear about what they have planned for their DIY wedding in August this year. They get married on a working farm in Lancashire and it promises to be a great day. Hay bales, festival lighting, outdoor games, huge tables and bunting are just some of the quirky additions to this wedding. I am so excited!

As a wedding photographer I really enjoy meeting up with couples before their wedding and Formby Woods provides an excellent location to have a relaxed, natural engagement shoot. Essentially it’s a chilled out walk around the woods and onto the beach where we get to have a chat about your wedding, let you know how I work and for those who don’t like having their photos taken it puts you at ease before the big day! After we finished our walk, I put the camera down and we headed to a local pub to warm up and have a quick pint where we discussed their wedding in more detail. As a wedding photographer I play such a big part in your wedding so it’s nice to get to know you before hand.

I really can’t wait to photograph their wedding in Lancashire, it is going to be great!

Please get in contact if you would like to discuss me being your wedding photographer
