Lancashire Pre Wedding Shoot – Hurstwood Reservoir
I recently caught up with Jack and Lauren at Hurstwood Reservoir in Burnley, ahead of their wedding at Mitton Hall in December this year. I have never been here before but it is perfect for engagement shoots and one of my new favourite places to photograph in Lancashire. I have to say it has everything – forrests, hills, water bridges and amazing sunsets – everything an engagement shoot should have. To be fair Lauren, Jack and their dog Dotty made my job so easy today, an obviously very happy, content and great couple.
it is also nice to get comments from the future bride such as “You’re so clever, so excited you’re our wedding photographer”
I heard all about their plans for the big day at Mitton Hall and I am not sure who is more excited me or the bride and groom. Getting married a few days before Christmas is going to be epic and my last wedding before I head to South Africa for a wedding just before New Years Eve. It is safe to say I love my job as a wedding photographer.

Relaxed, Natural and Unobtrusive Wedding Photography
My style of photography is mainly documentary, capturing the day as it happens in a natural and relaxed manner. What that means is almost completely unposed wedding photography throughout the whole day. I want you to spend time with your friends and family and ignore me.
