Non Stop Party At Colshaw Hall

Colshaw Hall is one of my favourite wedding venues to photograph at in Cheshire. The Grade II listed hall is owned by the Irlam family and is situated in Over Peover just outside of Knutsford. With fantastic grounds that are exclusively yours on a wedding day this venue is such a sort after wedding venue. Once you tie the knot in the Ceremony Hall or if you’re lucky enough to get married in one of the two licensed garden areas, the magnificent Peel suite is where the wedding breakfast and evening reception take place.

Charlotte & Craig were by their friends and family at Colshaw Hall and it was such a beautiful day to be a part of. In 2021 I worked at Colshaw Hall quite a lot and have lots more booked in for 2022. It is actually one of my most popular wedding venues – which I am delighted about, as I love working at one of Cheshires best wedding venues.

I started the day with Charlotte and her bridesmaids, whilst Paul one of my fantastic second shooters spent the morning with the groom who was at the Den.

After the bride and her bridesmaids were all ready It was soon time jump in the buggy with the fantastic Colshaw Staff and head for the ceremony room, Cheshire East are the registrars for Colshaw Hall and were on hand again for a lovely ceremony. The bride and groom asked the very talented Liz Hendry Pianist to play the ceremony and drinks reception. I have known Liz a while and she is one of the best at what’s she does, but more importantly she is a lovely woman too.

After they tied the knot it was time for confetti before heading to the walled gardens for drinks reception at Colshaw Hall. I left the newly weds alone for their drinks reception at Colshaw Hall, capturing natural moments throughout. Its as very clear that today was going to be a significant party! Towards the end we did the group photos and couples portraits around the grounds of Colshaw Hall which is an incredible wedding venue to photograph at.

I absolutely loved today – the bride and groom surprised the wedding guests with some top class entertainment during the wedding breakfast with singing waiters from Silver Service getting everyone in the mood for a fantastic wedding party. Rarely have I seen a wedding breakfast like Charlotte and Craigs wedding at Colshaw Hall.

This continued into the night with everyone having a great day and night. The dance floor was fantastic from start to finish.
