Haylie & Ryan’s Wedding at Iscoyd Park
I was able to spend time with both the bride and groom in the mooring of the wedding – a perfect way to tell the full story from their wedding. Ryan got ready in the library whilst the bride and her bridesmaids were in the bridal suite getting ready for the day ahead. It was a very fun filled wedding and after meeting with Haylie and Ryan a couple of times before the wedding it was great to see them again.
Once Haylie was ready and in her dress it was a little emotional seeing her dad – with tears from a fair few people in the room – I love moments like this and really enjoy capturing moments like this in weddings.
A fantastic wedding at Iscoyd Park
It was soon time to head downstairs to the wedding ceremony where Ryan was waiting patiently. Another emotional scene as Haylie was walked down the aisle with not only her dad but her daughter as well. After a short but sweet ceremony it was time for confetti at the front of the building followed by drinks and canapés.
After canapés it was time for speeches and the wedding breakfast – the speeches were great and I think were perfect for the day – funny, loving and perfect.
After food it was back outside for a few more drinks before the evening party. Iscoyd Park has the perfect space for the evening party and for Haylie and Ryan their dance floor was packed. It was truly a pleasure to photograph this lovely couples wedding – I have had a good laugh from the minute I met Haylie and Ryan for a pint a couple of years ago and look forward to having another pint soon!
What Haylie & Ryan said about Andy Griffiths Photography at Iscoyd Park:
Where do I even start… Andy was by far the best decision we could ever have made for our wedding. From the minute we met him we knew we wouldn’t find anyone else that would photograph our day the way he would. He was there whenever we needed him throughout this dreadful pandemic, helping us rearrange our date with no issues at all, and just generally there as a sounding board for any worries we had in the lead up.
On the day itself Andy was there when we needed him and practically invisible the rest of the time, capturing the most perfect moments we were too busy enjoying ourselves to notice. So many of our guests have commented on how little they noticed he was even there, which is exactly how we wanted it. There was no dragging us away for excessive amounts of time to take photos, yet we still came away with the best pictures we could ever have hoped for.
Andy was not just “our wedding photographer” he went above and beyond all day. I never realised how much of a difference your suppliers can make to your day but this guy kept me from having a million melt downs before the ceremony had even started, he answered every stupid question I had with a reassuring answer and he even gave in and fixed the train on my dress before some of the pictures, even though he definitely said he wouldn’t ????
The work Andy produces speaks for itself. Every single one of our photos takes us back to the most amazing moments and it’s like reliving our whole day over and over again. He is genuinely a really great guy and if you are wondering whether to book him for your wedding stop now and just do it! You will never regret it I promise you that!
