Beeston Manor Wedding

Beeston Manor Wedding

Beeston Manor, a stunning family-run wedding venue in Lancashire, set the scene for Melissa and James’ fantastic wedding. This wasn’t your typical overly sentimental affair; instead, it was a day packed with laughter, energy, and plenty of unforgettable moments.
Before diving into the day’s events, let’s take a moment to appreciate the charm of Beeston Manor. Originally a 16th-century barn, this venue has been lovingly transformed by the Bickerstaffe family into one of Lancashire’s most sought-after wedding destinations. The manor effortlessly blends rustic character with modern comfort, offering a mix of exposed beams, sandstone walls, and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Its history adds a touch of authenticity to every celebration, making it a truly unique spot for tying the knot.

The Morning Preparations

Before heading The day kicked off with James and his groomsmen at one of the groomsmen’s homes. The atmosphere was lively, with plenty of banter and the occasional panic over ties and pocket squares. James kept it cool, though, looking sharp in his custom made suit.

A short drive away, Melissa was getting ready at her parents’ house. The mood was equally vibrant, thanks to the incredibly talented Jodie Smith, the makeup artist, who worked her magic on the bride and her bridal party. Once Melissa was in her dress it was a very emotional moment as her dad came to see her for the first time before heading off to Beeston Manor.

This Beeston Manor Wedding ceremony took place in Beeston Manor’s beautiful Woodland Room. Bathed in natural light and decorated with simple but elegant touches, it was the ideal setting for Melissa and James to exchange their vows. After saying their vows it was time for an explosion of confetti and the drinks reception.

Luck was on their side for this Beeston Manor Wedding, with the weather, and the drinks reception was held outside. Guests mingled on the patio, sipping prosecco and enjoying the fresh Lancashire air. Towards the end of drinks reception It was the perfect opportunity for a few group photos and for Melissa and James to sneak off for some candid couple’s portraits around the manor’s picturesque grounds as their guests took their seats for the wedding breakfast. A Beeston Manor Wedding has a lot of opportunities for photos. Having worked here several times each year it is always a great place for couples portraits.

After the speeches the guests were entertained by Wayne Farrow. The atmosphere was electric! Midway through the meal, the entertainment kicked off, and suddenly, guests were out of their seats, dancing and singing along. It was a brilliant way to break up the formalities and get everyone in the party spirit.

The food, as expected, was top-notch as it always is for a Beeston Manor wedding. Once the food, speeches and entertainment came to an end it was time to turn the room around so everyone headed outside to enjoy the Lancashire sunshine. We did some quick sunset photos before the evening party started.

As the evening celebrations kicked off, Melissa and James took to the floor for their first dance. The guests kept the energy high, with guests of all ages hitting the dance floor and showing off their moves. This wedding was fantastic and full of energy, I loved being a part of it and photographing this wedding at Beeston Manor.
