I am delighted to share these Sandhole Oak Barn wedding photos. Sandhole Oak Barn is situated in Congleton and has been in the Worth family since the 1920’s. The first wedding was in 1995 and since then they have become one of the best wedding venues in the North West. In 2005 the incredibly impressive Oak Barn was added and have held hundreds of weddings since. With easy access to Cheshire, Manchester and other key locations throughout the North West it is a fantastic spot to tie the knot. Sandhole also has an incredible lake that the barn looks over. In addition whatever time of the year, you are able to get some incredible sunsets at this top wedding venue.

Izzi & Chris’s wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn

Izzi & Chris got married at Sandhole Oak Barn in September 2021 & I am so happy to share these Sandhole Oak Barn wedding photos. As a wedding photographer, arriving in the beautiful and scenic Cheshire countryside you just know it is going to be a good day. Top Table Catering are on hand at Sandhole Oak Barn and they continually go above and beyond to ensure that couples & their guests have the best day.

The morning started with Izzi and her bridesmaids in the morning and it was a lovely morning. I also spent time with Chris and his groomsmen in the Shephards Hut – the perfect little space for a couple of beers and to get ready in.

Once make up was finished and everyone was ready Izzi’s dad soon arrived to walk her down the aisle.

An emotional Wedding Ceremony at Sandhole Oak Barn

The wedding ceremony was conducted by Your Ceremony (Cheshire East wedding registrars) and it was lovely. Chris couldn’t hide his emotions throughout the ceremony and it was truly lovely to see.

After a short service it was time to sign the register and then on to the drinks reception, leaving through loads of confetti.

My approach to drinks receptions are the same at every wedding – let the newly weds enjoy their wedding reception with their wedding guests and photograph the formal groups and portraits towards the end of the drinks reception which allows the couples to actually enjoy their wedding with all of their wedding guests, especially in a wedding venue like Sand Hole Oak Barn.

My approach to wedding photography is something I really believe in and know the difference it makes to couples and their friends and family.

We did some groups followed by couples portraits in the grounds of Sandhole – great little locations throughout – I love taking photos at Sandhole Oak Barn.

Evening party at Sandhole Oak Barn

After the wedding breakfast it was time for the speeches – they were brilliant – emotional, funny and full of laughter throughout the room.

Soon after it was time for the cutting of the cake and then the best part of the wedding – the evening party to start! The bride and groom had their first dance at Sandhole Oak Barn and then the party really started.

The dance floor was packed and I love weddings like this – I have photographed several times at Sandhole Oak Barn and I love photographing at this incredible wedding venue in Cheshire. Sandhole is fast becoming one of my most popular wedding venues and I can’t wait to share more Sandhole Oak Barn wedding photos.
