Pryors Hayes is a hidden gem of a venue, with exposed Cheshire brick, oak beams and simple yet elegant interior it is the perfect backdrop for a beautiful wedding. They also have a stunning outdoor area for outdoor services, surrounded by greenery and Emma & Austin were lucky enough to have an outside ceremony for their wedding. I really enjoyed photographing at this wonderful wedding venue again and look forward to coming back in the near future.

Bride & Groom Preparation
I was asked by Emma and Austin to go along to both preparations, Austin got ready with his ushers and best man in Chester before heading to the pub and Emma got ready at a country hotel not far from the wedding venue. Both were great fun but it safe to say the girls know how to drink prosecco in both style and quantity.
Emma & Austin’s outdoor wedding at Pryors Hayes
Emma & Austin were lucky enough to have beautiful weather for their wedding and decided to get married outside. Surrounded by their family and friends they said their I do’s and officially became Mr & Mrs Nuttall. This wedding was one hell of party and I think a lot of people would have had some post wedding hangovers. It was brilliant and I can’t wait to photograph two of the bride and grooms friends weddings next year.
Couples portraits at Pryors Hayes
Towards the end of the drinks reception we spent ten minutes on the formal photos before heading out for couples portraits. Pryors Hayes is a beautiful golf course so there is plenty of space and opportunities for photos. We headed towards one of the lakes on the golf buggies. Then it was time for speeches and a relaxed BBQ, the couple didn’t want a big formal wedding but more of a party – they certainly got that. It has to be said that the speeches were fantastic and the best man’s speech was one of the best I had heard.
Evening party at Pryors Hayes
Wow, now that is a wedding party. From 50 odd guests to over 150 at night it went off! The fabulous Manytones were performing and having worked with them in the past I knew this was going to be great. After a really nice first dance where the bride and groom were joined by their little boy Finley, he was soon handed over to his gran and then the party really started. There was shots for all of the hen party and I hope every evening reception is like this!
Emma and Austin, you two are ace, thank you so much for having me along to your wedding and I can’t wait to catch up with you next year if not before for a beer!
