Lucy & Matt’s Wedding at Low Wood Bay
Lucy & Matt both got ready at Low Wood Bay before heading to St Martin’s Church in Bowness on Windermere. Lucy had the fantastic Katy Corcoran on hair and the talented Danielle Robinson on Make Up.
I also spent some time with Matt and his groomsmen in the morning before they headed off to the pub before the service. The soon to be newly weds had arranged some transport for the wedding guests to travel from Low Wood Bay to the Church
The ceremony was lovely and after confetti it was time to head back to Low Wood Bay.
Couples portraits at Low Wood Bay
The weather wasn’t the best on the day but with the help of technology I made sure that we had enough time to do some group formals and couples portraits.
The view from the bank of Lake Windermere is fantastic and it was great to let the new Mr and Mrs spend some time together for 15 minutes. There is also a lovely jetty over the lake which is perfect for photos.
An amazing wedding reception boat cruise on Lake Windermere
After couples photos and groups we had a bit of time in Low Wood Bay for canapés and drinks, I was getting a good feeling that today was going to be brilliant and I wasn’t let down.
After the wedding breakfast and speeches everyone headed on to ‘Miss Lakeland’ in the pouring down rain for an hour of one of the best party cruises I have ever been on.
The bride and groom and all their wedding guests partied hard and it didn’t stop all night. Lucy and Matt asked me to stay late until 10.30pm and I am so glad I did – this was one of the best wedding parties I have ever been too.
What the bride & groom said about Andy Griffiths Photography
“We were given Andy’s details through recommendation and after looking at his pictures his style fit exactly what we wanted. From the first contact with him he was amazing, he was quick to respond, personable and he touched base on the run up to the wedding when he needed to making sure we both had everything we needed to make the day run smoothly. The weather wasn’t great on the day but he made sure he had one eye on the time and forecast all day so we got the best out of the sunshine.
I have had SO many comments from guests to say how much people enjoyed him being there and being involved in the laughter surrounding the day but also how professional he remained. The proof is in the pictures which are absolutely stunning.
I honestly can not recommend Andy enough, he captured every single bit of our day perfectly so we have the best memories.
Thank you so much!”
