And when Amber and Sean decided to tie the knot here, it was always going to be an incredible day from start to finish!

Stunning Inn On The Lake Wedding
Situated on the shores of Ullswater, Inn on the Lake is one of the most sought-after wedding venues in the Lake District. With 15 acres of landscaped gardens, a private jetty, and panoramic views of the fells, it’s a setting that takes your breath away.
Amber and Sean said their vows, surrounded by family, friends, and the stunning scenery with an outside ceremony. When the weather plays ball (and luckily for these two, it did), an Inn on the Lake wedding feels like it could be anywhere in the world. It was honestly absolutely awesome.
The Ceremony: Wonderful outdoor ceremony
Amber and Sean opted for an outdoor ceremony, making the most of the stunning location. With Ullswater stretching out behind them and their guests seated in the lush gardens, it was the kind of setting that makes you wonder why anyone would ever choose to get married indoors! This Inn On The Lake Wedding was absolutely incredible from start to finish.
The atmosphere was relaxed and full of excitement as Sean waited, looking equal parts emotional and excited. Amber, looking incredible, made her entrance, and let’s just say there might have been a few teary eyes among the guests. The ceremony was filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and, of course, a stunning backdrop – it’s pretty hard to compete with the Lake District’s natural beauty!
Stunning Ullswater Scenary
After the couple tied the knot it was time for drinks reception, again everything was outside and it was just perfect. Later on with a location as scenic as this, there was no way Amber and Sean were missing out on some epic couple photos. In the afternoon, they took a walk down to the lake, capturing some gorgeous shots with the water and mountains behind them.
After speeches and in the early evening as the sun started to set, whilst the guests were enjoying the last bit of the sun for the day the couple and I headed back out for round two. Sunset at Inn on the Lake is something else, and Amber and Sean made the most of the golden light, Amber and Sean took things up a notch with an epic champagne spray by the lake this was the perfect way to head into the evening party.
The Atmosphere: A Wedding Day Done Right
From the ceremony to the evening reception, the entire Inn On The Lake Wedding day had an incredible energy. Preparation in the morning was brilliant, Ceremony – incredible, the speeches were the perfect mix of heartfelt and funny,
The food? Absolutely top-tier. The drinks? Flowing freely. The dancefloor? Packed from the get-go. The stationary was also done by the bride herself and it is clear to see why she runs her own business.
There’s something about an Inn on the Lake wedding that just encourages people to let loose and have the time of their lives, and Amber and Sean’s guests did not disappoint. The party carried on well into the night, with the lakeside setting adding an extra bit of magic to the whole thing. Amber & Sean are two incredible people and I had a fantastic time with them both. It was also fantastic to work with so many fantastic suppliers.

It’s hard to put into words just how incredible Andy was as our wedding photographer and how deeply grateful we are. We received our full wedding album earlier than expected which was an incredible surprise; when we looked at our photos for the first time, we were completely overwhelmed. The care and passion Andy put into his work shone through in every single photo and each one brought us back to that day—the love, the joy, and the pure happiness we felt. It’s a gift we’ll never be able to repay.
