A stunning venue in Cheshire for a wedding
Colshaw Hall is one of my favourite wedding venues to photograph at in Cheshire. The Grade II listed hall is owned by the Irlam family and is situated in Over Peover just outside of Knutsford. With fantastic grounds that are exclusively yours on a wedding day this venue is such a sort after wedding venue. Once you tie the knot in the separate ceremony room, the magnificent Peel suite is where the wedding breakfast and evening reception take place. There is of course the beautiful garden area for the drinks reception which is just the perfect space for a fantastic wedding.
Rebecca & Adam were joined by around 100 of their friends and family at Colshaw Hall and it was such a beautiful day to be a part of. I have known Adam & Rebecca for a number of years now as we have a couple of mutual friends – so it was great to be asked to photograph their wedding.
I started the day with Rebecca and her bridesmaids before catching up with Adam and his two best men in the morning. After they tied the knot it was time for confetti which was ace and then the drinks reception. Everyone was having a great time and enjoying the canapes and the drinks were flowing nicely, everyone enjoyed the Cheshire sun – it was certainly a beautiful day.
Couples portraits at Colshaw Hall
Rebecca & Adam were really lucky with the weather today which made it a perfect day to get married. At the end of the drinks reception we had a small amount of formal family photos to do and then we headed out into the grounds of this stunning Cheshire wedding venue for some couples portraits as all the guests made their way into the Peel suite for the speeches. They were great and the two best men had prepared a video all about the groom which was hilarious and such a great idea.
Evening wedding party at Colshaw Hall
Having known the bride and groom for a few years I knew the party was going to be good, they had asked me to stay until 10.30pm which was perfect. The dance floor was packed for most the evening and the Flynn & Tonics were fantastic all night.
Marie Curie Cancer
The bride and groom had also arranged for some casino tables and asked people to make a donation to Marie Curie. A fantastic amount of almost £450 was raised and was then doubled by a company of one of the guests. A fantastic gesture and a really great idea at any wedding. This was all in all a fantastic wedding and I am so pleased to have been back at Colshaw Hall ahead of my wedding next week which is at its sister wedding venue – Merrydale Manor. Thanks so much Adam and Becca for having me along! Enjoy your sneak peek and I shall be in touch soon!

Relaxed, Natural & Unobtrusive Wedding Photography
My style of photography is relaxed, natural and unobtrusive, capturing the day as it happens. What that means is almost completely unposed wedding photography throughout the whole day. I want you to spend time with your friends and family and ignore me. If you’re getting married at Colshaw Hall or anywhere else then please get in touch.
