Brockholes Nature Reserve Wedding Photography

Brockholes Nature Reserve was the perfect choice of venue for Jenny and Jonny’s wedding  This is an incredible venue – made even better with the fantastic weather. The sun was out literally all day and being at a wedding venue that is floating on water was really great. The day started at Jenny’s mum’s house where  Nicola Jayne MUA was there ensuring all the bridesmaids and of course the lovely bride were looking their best.

The day was really special for a number of reasons, but it also shared the same date as the Royal Wedding, we spent sometime watching the coverage on TV which got the nerves going for Jenny. Before long it was Jenny’s turn to walk down the aisle.

Emotional & Funny Speeches

After the guests enjoyed afternoon tea we were ready for the speeches, sadly some loved ones were not able to make it and were no longer here in person. Such lovely speeches by everyone that had everything you would want at a wedding – funny, sensitive, emotional and heart felt!

After speeches everyone enjoyed some more drinks during sunset and then we headed over to the evening reception room which was ace! The Retrosettes got everyone dancing and it it looked like everyone had the best time.
