Beeston Manor Wedding Photography | Laura & Pete
Well what a wedding Laura & Pete’s had at Beeston Manor on the 6th of July. I had been looking forward to photographing this wedding for over a year, after I met Peter and Laura for their engagement shoot in Preston, not far from their wedding venue!
Surrounded by friends and family tied the knot at St Johns Baptist Church in Preston, this service had some more meaning though as Pete’s dad actually conducted the service. They got special permission form the church to allow his dad to have the honour of marrying his son and new daughter in law, it was a lovely service.
Beeston Manor Weddings
Beeston Manor is a family run and owned venue set in 140 acres of land at Hoghton near Preston. It has a beautifully converted 16th Century barn which is the perfect setting for any wedding. The barn was originally used for storage of local farmer’s crops. The building has literally been hand made by John Bickerstaffe and his father Frank over 12 years, this is now one of the Ribble Valleys finest wedding venues – and I loved photographing here.
Outdoor reception drinks at Beeston Manor
Laura & Pete and the whole wedding party the fabulous setting at Beeston Manor, it was a really warm wedding and everyone enjoyed some drinks in the sun, it was a boiling hot day so I think the guests were delighted to have some Ice cream – which I think went down a treat with everyone at the wedding!
Funtime Frankies at Beeston Manor
Beeston Manor is not only an incredible venue, but it also has some incredible sunsets, today was no different. The newlyweds and I headed out to make the most of the last of the sun, with golden light it was perfect. The dancing continued – the dance floor was packed and Funtime Frankies were incredible, they had everyone up dancing. Before I headed home Pete and Laura wanted to make use of the sparklers they had got. This was a fantastic wedding and I am so pleased Laura and Pete asked me to be their wedding photographer.
