Bolton Abbey Tithe Barn
Wedding Photography
I am delighted to share this Bolton Abbey Tithe Barn Wedding. Bolton Abbey Tithe Barn is a stunning venue in Skipton, North Yorkshire. This incredible wedding venue is able to host up to 200 seated guests and is a stunning venue to tie the knot. Built in the early 16th century the scale and beauty of this building is incredible. Overlooking the priory ruins, River Wharf and the stepping stones it lends itself to be a fantastic wedding venue in the Yorkshire countryside.

Stunning Church Service at Stonyhurst
The day started off at the Devonshire Arms, Skipton. Both the bride and groom stayed here which was perfect me to capture both preparations. This is one of the recommended accommodation by The Tithe Barn and is only a two minute drive away. Hair and Make up, champagne and breakfast was the order of service for the morning. The father of the bride soon came to see the stunning bride – always one of my favourite moments from any wedding and today was no different.
The bride and groom got married at the impressive Stonyhurst church in Clitheroe. The groom Paddy went to school at Stonyhurst so it had extra special meaning to the couple and his family. Welcomed to the ceremony by Irish bagpipers, the couple also had a choir and a pianist, all of this make for the perfect ceremony. This church is one of the most impressive I have photographed at and it also has stunning grounds for wedding photos. We were lucky enough to have some snow which meant we had some stunning couples portraits.
Incredible wedding party at Bolton Abbey Tithe Barn
After the church service, we did some group photos and couples portraits. We didn’t have a lot of time because it was so cold, but the beautiful bride braved the weather for some incredible couples portraits in the grounds of the church before heading to The Tithe Barn. With over 100 friends and family I knew today was going to busy and full of fun and happiness. I wasn’t wrong, everyone had a great time, enjoying drinks and canapés before sitting down for speeches and food. Speeches were brilliant, funny and exactly what speeches should be.
The bride and groom opted to have a fiddler to entertain their guests during courses and again at the end of the meal. It was a fantastic idea, because everyone loved it and it certainly got everyone ready for the evening party.

Bolton Abbey Tithe Barn is a great space for your wedding and perfect for wedding photos. After food, speeches and entertainment it was time for Cake cut and first dance. The bride and groom booked Radio Soul for the evening and I have to say they were excellent.
