Having photographed weddings at Bartle Hall a few times before I am delighted to be able to share Will & Liz’s wedding with you. Bartle hall is set within within sixteen acres of stunning gardens, the country house hotel is right in the heart of the Lancashire countryside.

The current owners Andrew and Nicola took over in 2016, and have ensure extremely high standards of hospitality and food which is perfect for your wedding day. This stunning wedding venue is steeped in history and is a beautiful country house which is perfect to host your wedding.

The wedding in the Balmoral Suite

It was such a beautiful autumn’s day at Bartle Hall to photograph the lovely bride and groom getting married. The day started off for me when I met Liz and her bridesmaids as they arrived at thevenue. Not longer after Will arrived with his groomsmen the guests started to arrive. I could tell as soon as I met the couple that today was going to be a good day.

The service was an emotional and happy occasion and to be quite honest I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place when Will’s mum and Liz’s brother both gave readings. After they tied the knot in the Balmoural suite it was time for the confetti and then everyone stayed outside for the drinks reception being entertained by a fantastic singer from DFC.

Chris Cooper who also works for DFC was on hand as well to host the day. Which was simply fantastic and I can highly recommend having Chris as a host on your wedding day. The speeches were before the meal and they were some of the best I had heard in a while, Chris Cooper also had everyone up and dancing and enjoying themselves during the wedding breakfast.

It was a beautiful day for the lovely bride and groom’s wedding, we spent 5 minutes away from all the guests to enjoy the autumn sunshine and take it all in. This popular wedding venue is the perfect venue for photographs with such large grounds and beautiful gardens you can’t go wrong.

Evening party with DFC’s Chris Cooper as Wedding Host

For the afternoon and into the guests were entertained by the brilliant Chris, I have worked with Chris several times and know him personally and he brings so much energy and professionalism to the wedding day I really enjoy working with him. It was soon time for speeches and then onto the wedding breakfast and straight into the cutting of the cake. With a bit of time for more drinks it was time for the first dance. After first dance they bride and groom were joined by the guests on the dance floor and it was literally packed. The evening is always a favourite part of mine. I love a party!
