Tower Hill Barns

I am delighted to share this Tower Hill Barns Wedding blog. Nestled in the heart of North Wales, Tower Hill Barns is a location rich in history and character. Originally a working farm, the site has been transformed over the years into a beloved family run wedding venue. The conversion has carefully preserved its rustic character, with the stunning oak-framed barn and the historic railway bridge providing a distinct, almost timeless atmosphere. With scenic countryside views in every direction, it’s a location that I love to photograph at – perfect for couples looking for a venue with history and personality.

The railway bridge is a unique feature at Tower Hill Barns, dating back to the Victorian era. It adds a touch of historic charm to the site and offers a fantastic backdrop for Tower Hill Barns Wedding photographs. Many couples choose to include the bridge in their wedding portraits, and it’s easy to see why – the aged brickwork and the surrounding greenery make it an ideal spot for capturing those timeless moments.

A relaxed morning at Tower Hill Barns

Sarah and Edd’s wedding day at Tower Hill Barns was one of those rare Welsh summer days that seemed tailor-made for a celebration. Set against the natural beauty of the Clwydian Range, their day was blessed with clear skies, golden sunshine, and the lively company of family and friends. The couple’s vision for a relaxed, outdoor wedding filled with laughter, great food, and plenty of charm was brought to life at this incredible Tower Hill Barns Wedding venue.

The morning began quietly, with Sarah and her bridal party gathering in the on-site bridal suite to prepare. The suite itself, with its cosy decor and soft natural light, created an ideal environment for the bridal party’s final touches. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed, with laughter and conversation as Sarah got ready with her closest friends and family.

Just a short stroll from Tower Hill Barns, Edd was preparing with his groomsmen at a nearby Airbnb. This short distance made it easy to pop over and capture moments from both preparations, as Edd and his friends shared a few final laughs before the big event. With everyone in high spirits, the morning set a cheerful tone for the rest of the day.

Outdoor Ceremony at Tower Hill Barns

Under a clear, warm August sky, Sarah and Edd exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony framed by the lush Welsh countryside and the old train bridge. Tower Hill Barns’ wedding outdoor ceremony space offered a picturesque setting for the occasion, with views of the rolling hills and that unmistakable sense of calm that comes with an open-air event.

The couple chose a simple, heartfelt ceremony, with a couple of readings along the way. A Tower Hill Barns Wedding has natural beauty which is a huge bonus of this wonderful location. After they exchanged their vows, the newlyweds walked back down the aisle, beaming with joy and greeted by a round of enthusiastic applause and loads of bubbles!

Before the Tower Hill Barns wedding breakfast speeches were given outdoors, creating an intimate setting that felt personal and relaxed. The speeches had everything, laughter, smiles and lovely words. It was a memorable part of the day, enhanced by the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

For their first dance, Sarah and Edd made their own outdoor dance floor, embracing the natural beauty around them as they moved to their chosen song. it was fantastic having almost all of the wedding outside – we were really lucky with how nice a day it was.

I am delighted to share this Tower Hill Barns Wedding blog. Sarah and Edd’s wedding at Tower Hill Barns was one of those rare days where everything seemed to fall into place perfectly. The sunny weather, the joyful atmosphere, and the relaxed flow of the day made for an unforgettable experience. Tower Hill Barns provided an exceptional setting, combining history, character, and a natural beauty that fnot many venues can match. Just after the first dance the Ashmore Brothers moved inside and so did the party! A wonderful day for the bride and groom and all their guests..

Shortly after getting engaged, we went to a venue open day and Andy was the very first supplier we met. Although the venue wasn’t the one for us; we came away knowing we’d found our photographer and basically planned our wedding around his availability!

Neither of us are that comfortable in front of a camera, so his relaxed and unposed photography style was exactly what we were looking for.

Leading up to the wedding he was very helpful, answering any questions we had and recommended an amazing videographer to us.

On the day itself he put us both at ease and liaised with the venue staff to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible.

He suggested we brought forward our first dance, which we had outside, as the lighting was just perfect. We had lots of children at our wedding and Andy was great with them all.

We got our photos back earlier than we expected and it was lovely to look at them and relive the day.

If you’re getting married and looking for a photographer, then Andy is your man. Just book him quick, the guy is unsurprisingly in demand!
