The Cowshed Crail
Wedding Photography
I am delighted to share this the Cowshed Crail wedding photography blog. Situated on the outskirts of Crail in the East Neuk of Fife and also close to St Andrews, Scotland. The Cowshed has been part of the Logan family for over 70 years. Originally used to house calves for dairy it opened its doors as a wedding venue in January 2016.
Full of fantastic character, original features, and spectacular sea views across the Firth of Forth to the Bass Rock and East Lothian it really is a stunning wedding venue. I am absolutely thrilled to have been asked by Cathy and Calum to be part of their day.

The Cowshed Crail Wedding Photography
The day started off at with the bride and her bridesmaids who were getting ready in the main house, whilst the groom was getting ready in one of the smaller cottages that is part of the large amount of accommodation on offer at the Cowshed. It was a great morning with the couple and their bridal party
The couple had a family friend as celebrant for the service which meant it was far more personable. In addition, some of their guests who were very talented singers provided the entertainment throughout the ceremony and wedding reception. The bride is very musical and it was clear how much music was important throughout the day. The best moment of the ceremony has to be the page boys reading. Absolutely incredible wedding scenes!
A Wedding Full of Live Music at the Cowshed, Crail
Once the service was over it was out into the courtyard for drinks reception as well as a couple of sets from the guests and the bride – before the groom completely shocked the bride with what I can say is one of the highlights of the year for wedding entertainment. One of the best renditions of ‘I Believe in a thing called love’ by the Darkness. After this epic moment it was time for the wedding breakfast and speeches which were all excellent.
