WOW! What a wedding to photograph at Stanford Farm. Dayna and Gareth wanted a relaxed and fun wedding, I think it is safe to say they got this. I have been talking to this amazing couple for a while about their big day and I have been excited about this wedding since they booked me as their wedding photographer last year. Stanford Farm is the perfect venue, when you book this family run venue it is a shell and you get to put your own stamp on it. The newlyweds put so much effort and thought into this wedding and it was simply amazing.
What the Bride and Groom said about Andy Griffiths Photography
“Finding an amazing photographer for our wedding was top of our list and after our first chat with Andy we knew he was perfect to capture our big day! He was relaxed, fun, and just like having a mate photograph us. We wanted our photos to capture the whole experience as it played out and that’s exactly what he did. Words cannot describe how incredible he was on the day and how amazing our photos are!! We hardly noticed he was there! He was a camera ninja!! We are completely in love with them and look at them all the time. It’s like reliving the day over and over. We cannot recommend him enough. He really did capture every emotion of the day. Thank you so much for giving us memories that we can look at forever.”
Real emotion at bridal preparation.
The beautiful bride rented a house in the countryside not far from Stanford Farm, family and friends all stayed for a few days so on the morning the house it was great to photograph as so much stuff was happening. I always say to my couples to give gifts when I am there, today was a classic example of why. Their was so much emotion between the bride, bridesmaids and family there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. The groom, his best man and father were getting ready near by so I also went along there – I always enjoy going to both groom and bridal prep, it adds so much to the story of the wedding day.
Confetti, drinks and a relaxed wedding at Stanford Farm.
Stanford farm has been in the family for over 100 years and is now a quirky, unique and quite frankly brilliant wedding venue. With on site camping, exclusivity and beautiful countryside there is no where else you need for a relaxed & festival themed wedding. The bride and groom wrote their own vows and you can just tell how happy these two people are. They also have an amazing dog Chester who couldn’t help but get in on the action during the signing of the register. After saying their vows it was onto reception drinks, confetti and enjoying the day with their friends and family.
We went off for some relaxed couple photos around the Stanford Farm and thankfully the weather was lovely in the evening without a cloud in the sky. It was soon time for the party which included lots of dancing, pizza, face painting and a really cool photobooth.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Thain, you just had one hell of a wedding at Stanford Farm!!
