Darcey & James Wedding at Mottram Hall

I am delighted to share a sneak peek from Darcey & James wedding at Mottram Hall. Both the bride and groom got ready at Mottram Hall, I always enjoy covering both bridal & groom prep it really tells the story from the day. It was a lovely morning with the bride and groom. It was soon time for Darcey’s grandfather to come and meet Darcey and take her to the church to give her away. A lovely moment, one I always like capturing.

Once we arrived at the church it was time to get wed! After a lovely service and once the formalities were complete it was time to head outside for confetti, the bride and groom were greeted by many of their wedding guests who couldn’t attend the wedding because of Covid. It was great seeing the bride and groom being greeted by friends and also spending time with their guests outside the church.

Drinks Reception in the Garden Room

Mottram Hall wedding photography is always a joy, after the bride and groom tied the knot at the church, we headed back to Mottram Hall and the wonderful Garden room for the drinks reception. It was the hottest day of the year so far so everyone was happy outside enjoying the sun.

The Garden room is the perfect spot for reception drinks which also opens up to the back terrace which looks out to the lake and gardens. It is a fabulous space for wedding guests to enjoy the weather, canapés and drinks in the sun or in their newly renovated Garden Room. Since Mottram Hall underwent refurbishment it really is one of the best wedding venues in Cheshire, I am so proud to be their recommended wedding photographer.

Speeches & Party in the St Andrews Suite

After capturing some group photos at the end of the drinks reception, it was soon time to head to the St Andrews Suite for the wedding breakfast and speeches. I absolutely love photographing weddings at Mottram Hall. Today for this lovely bride and groom it was no different and I really enjoyed being a part of their day. The two speeches were fantastic and everyone enjoyed having a drink and catching up with everyone. The weather was incredible and we managed to get outside for some sunset photos as well which is always great at Mottram Hall.

Although numbers were still slightly restricted everyone seemed to have a great time at Darcey & James Wedding and I am so pleased I was part of their wedding day at Mottram Hall.
