Merrydale Manor Wedding Photography
Chloe & Alex got married at Merrydale Manor in April 2024. It was a fantastic wedding from start to finish. I started the day with Chloe and the bridesmaids in the main Manor House. Prosecco flowing and plenty of laughter everyone had a top time. Merrydale Manor has the perfect space for bridal prep. I also went over to the groomsmen who were enjoying playing some pool before getting ready for the wedding at Merrydale Manor. It is always easy to photograph both preps at Merrydale Manor.
I really enjoy photographing at Merrydale Manor. It is a great space for your wedding and perfect for wedding photos. The service was lovely, conducted by Your Ceremony. The Tall Toast Master was on hand to ensure the day ran smoothly, along with the wonderful coordinators from Merrydale and Barretts.
Soon after the ceremony finished it was time for confetti we had a bit of bad weather so confetti was done as the couple walked down the aisle. We did a small selection of group photos and some couples portraits straight after ceremony today because the weather was so unpredictable. I love couples portraits at Merrydale Manor – it is the perfect backdrop with the lake, jetty and of course the Cheshire countryside.
The couple then enjoyed the drinks reception followed by the wedding speeches and wedding breakfast. The speeches were brilliant today and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them.
Fantastic wedding at Merrydale Manor
After the wedding breakfast and speeches it was soon time for the evening party to start. The Rush were in charge of the evening entertainment – you can guarantee a great evening party with these guys. There really get involved with the guests and ensure everyone enjoys the night. It was obvious that today the newly weds had a great time with their friends and family and I am delighted to have been a part of it.
I had a fantastic time photographing at this wonderful wedding and I am delighted to share this Merrydale Manor Wedding blog.
What the bride & groom said about Andy Griffiths Photography at Merrydale Manor
Where to start! One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was booking Andy as our photographer. We came across him as we had noticed he’d worked at our venue before and we instantly loved his candid approach to photos. We loved how he focused on capturing true, natural emotions rather than having a full album of posed photos. After contacting Andy, we knew we needed to book him. He was actually the first supplier we booked after securing our date at Merrydale Manor.
Andy is so approachable and helpful! Prior to the wedding we messaged Andy a few times for some advice and he was more than happy to help. Even on topics which weren’t necessarily related to the photography, but advice about the wedding in general. When you speak to him, you are instantly put at ease and he will tell you the honest truth and give his genuine advice.
We’d never met Andy in person before the wedding day, but when he arrived it definitely didn’t feel that way. He’s so professional, but also brings a great sense of humour and a friendly approach to his work which makes you feel at ease. He went above and beyond to offer help and advice on the wedding day, at the same time as capturing the best candid shots! I still have no idea how he managed to be in the right place at the right time to get such special, emotional photos. Once the wedding day got well underway, we completely forgot he was there snapping away which made sure we got true, authentic moments captured perfectly.
We LOVE how the wedding photos have turned out and we couldn’t believe how quickly we received our photos after the wedding. If you are engaged, you NEED to book Andy. You won’t be disappointed.
Thank you again, Andy.
