Merrydale Manor Wedding

I am delighted to share this Merrydale Manor Wedding. When Olivia and Jack tied the knot at Merrydale Manor in May 2024, it was nothing short of spectacular. Set amidst Cheshire’s rolling green landscapes, Merrydale Manor provided an elegant and picturesque setting for a memorable celebration. As a wedding photographer, it’s always a treat to capture a wedding at this venue, with its mix of elegance, charm, and those picture-perfect backdrops that make every shot a dream.

Merrydale Manor is one of Cheshire’s most sought-after wedding venues, and for good reason. With its stunning grounds, stylish interiors, and perfect mix of modern and classic vibes, it’s easy to see why Olivia and Jack chose it for their special day. The manor’s grand driveway, lined with trees and manicured lawns, made for an impressive entrance—a fitting start to a day that was anything but ordinary.

The ceremony took place in the venue’s light-filled ceremony room, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the lush grounds. Olivia and Jack’s guests were treated to a scene of absolute beauty, with soft florals and delicate touches creating an atmosphere that was both romantic and sophisticated.

The Wedding Morning at Merrydale Manor

At the Merrydale Manor Wedding morning kicked off with Olivia and her bridal party getting ready in Merrydale’s luxurious dressing suite. There was laughter, a few happy tears, and plenty of prosecco—the perfect recipe for pre-wedding excitement. Olivia’s dress, designed by Ronald Joyce, was a vision of timeless elegance,

Meanwhile, Jack and his groomsmen prepared in the unique and characterful space known as “The Cave.” Jack and his groomsmen embraced the black-tie dress code, with Jack looking the part in his classic three-piece suit, complete with a crisp white shirt and bow tie. There were a few nervous moments as he adjusted his tie and double-checked his vows, also some emotion when he tried to read a letter from his wife to be, before his best man stepped in.

I Do Events Liverpool were in charge of the decor today and as always they were fantastic. I have worked with this wonderful supplier a lot and they are at their top of the game in the wedding industry. If you are looking for a venue dresser you should get in touch with them asap as they book up fast.

Ceremony at Merrydale Manor

As guests took their seats for this Merrydale Manor Wedding, the excitement in the air was palpable. The ceremony room was adorned with floral arrangements that perfectly complemented the natural light pouring in through the windows. When the music began and Olivia made her entrance, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Jack’s reaction as he saw his daughter and then bride for the first time was pure emotion—a moment that reminded everyone why weddings are so magical.

The ceremony was personal and full of character, with heartfelt readings and a few laughs along the way. Olivia and Jack’s vows were a beautiful blend of sincerity and humour, capturing the essence of their relationship perfectly. When they were pronounced husband and wife, the room erupted into cheers, setting the tone for a day filled with celebration.

After the ceremony, guests made their way outside to enjoy drinks and canapés on the manor’s perfectly manicured lawn. The May weather was on its best behaviour, with blue skies and sunshine providing the ideal conditions for mingling and capturing those candid moments. From guests raising glasses to the newlyweds, the atmosphere was full of joy and laughter.

At the end of the drinks reception at this wonderful Merrydale Manor Wedding, we did the formal photos and then just before the wedding breakfast as guests were taking their seat, was also the perfect time for some couples’ portraits. We took the first set of portraits before the wedding breakfast, making the most of Merrydale Manor’s stunning grounds. Later in the early evening, we ventured to the lake for another session. The reflection of the manor on the tranquil water and the soft light filtering through the trees made for some truly breathtaking shots.

At every Merrydale Manor Wedding, Barretts are on hand to provide all your food and drink for the day. The wedding breakfast took place in Merrydale Manor’s stunning dining room, which had been transformed into a vision of elegance. Tables were adorned with floral centrepieces, flickering candles, and personalised touches that reflected Olivia and Jack’s personalities. The attention to detail was incredible and I absolutely loved photographing this Merrydale Manor Wedding.

Before the wedding breakfast, the speeches brought the room to life. Jack’s best man delivered a hilarious yet heartfelt speech that had everyone in stitches, while Liv, the father of the bride and Jack gave brilliant speeches.

The wedding breakfast, catered by the incredible team at Barretts, was a feast to remember. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal that had everyone raving long after the plates were cleared. At the end of the wedding breakfast The party then got into full swing with a roaming band from 21 Events.

As the sun began to set, the celebration moved to the manor’s spacious dance floor. Olivia and Jack’s first dance kicked off the evening’s festivities in style. 21 Events, kept the energy high and ensured the dance floor was packed all night long for this Merrydale Manor Wedding.

Video was captured by YSD Media at this Merrydale Manor Wedding, Stef & I have worked with many times before. His approach is wonderfully similar to mine—discreet, documentary-style storytelling that lets the day unfold naturally. It’s always a pleasure to collaborate with them to make sure every moment was captured just as it happened.

For couples dreaming of a wedding that’s as stunning as it is seamless, Merrydale Manor is a venue that truly delivers. Its combination of elegant interiors, breathtaking grounds, and exceptional service make it a top choice for weddings in Cheshire.
