Falcon Manor is the perfect wedding venue. I absolutely love photographing here and can’t wait to return. Set in the stunning Yorkshire Dales, Falcon Manor provides the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. Originally built in 1841, Falcon Manor has been fully restored from top to bottom. With manicured lawns and blooming flowers everywhere, this charming country house fits fantastically well with the James Places fantastic wedding venues.

Winter Wedding at Falcon Manor
Lotte & Adam had a fantastic small intimate wedding. The day started off at Falcon Manor in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. The beautiful bride and bridesmaids got ready for the day in the impressive bridal suite before heading to Eaves Hall for the ceremony. It was great to work with Hair by Lauren and Beauty by Laura. I have worked with them both at a few weddings and it’s so great to work with top MUA’s and hair dressers.
Once make up and hair was finished and everyone was looking stunning it was time for Lotte to get into her beautiful wedding dress from Bethany H Bridal. It was an emotional moment when Lotte’s dad came to see her, I always love that moment.
Ceremony at Eaves Hall
The wedding ceremony was conducted by Lancashire Registry Office and it was small, intimate and lovely. There was also a number of people viewing on zoom which meant more of their friends and family can see them tie the knot.
After a short service it was time to sign the register and then confetti and group photos at Eaves Hall. it was then time for everyone to head off to Falcon Manor for the wedding breakfast, speeches and evening.
Small Intimate Wedding Reception at Falcon Manor
Once we arrived back in Falcon Manor it was time for canapés and drinks before cutting the cake and speeches. I always love the speeches and today was no different. Funny & emotional from all speakers – it is exactly what you want on a wedding day.
Small weddings doesn’t have to mean boring weddings, today was fantastic and I really enjoyed capturing this wedding at Falcon Manor. But I can’t wait for the mad parties to start back soon!
My approach to wedding photography is something I really believe in and know the difference it makes to couples and their friends and family. You can find out more about my approach here.
