Carden Park Wedding Photography
This was my first time photographing a wedding at Carden Park a lovely hotel set in a 1000 acres of stunning Cheshire countryside. Originating in the early 17th century, the hotel has changed due to both Cromwell’s army and a large fire in 1912, it has since been rebuilt into an impressive venue that is a great venue for a wedding. The grounds are really impressive – there was some concern with the weather in the morning, but the wedding gods were kind and Sarah and Rob were able to tie the knot outside, surrounded by their friends and family. Rob, Sarah and the whole wedding party were also treated to fantastic live music by Joyful Gospel Choir , this wasn’t the first time I have captured a wedding with this wedding choir and I have to say I think they get better every time.
Bride and Groom Preparation
This wedding was so much fun, the day started off with Sarah and her bridesmaids getting ready before I headed off to capture Rob, his best man and ushers playing crazy golf before getting ready for the big day. They soon headed up to the room to get ready, Rob was appearing calm but you could tell he was nervous about the fact he was about to marry his best friend Sarah. The champagne, gin and beer was soon flowing ahead of the ceremony and he was put at ease by his closest friends and family. It was a pleasure to be helping out the talented Lee Brown Photography.
Red Floral Architecture
Red Floral Architecture are at the top of their game when it comes to wedding flowers, centre pieces and literally creating pieces of art at weddings. This wedding was no different and it was honestly one of the nicest floral decorations I have seen, which transformed an already nice room into something outstanding. Just after the bride and groom were able to see the room for the first time we headed off for 20 minutes for some portrait photos of the lovely couple. We hoped on the back of a golf buggy and off we went. Dropping Rob and Sarah off and letting them spend sometime on their own, taking it all in. It was then onto the wedding breakfast and party – with loads of dancing and the very talented The Great Scott Band.
Relaxed, Natural and Unobtrusive Wedding Photography
My style of photography is mainly documentary style, capturing the day as it happens. What that means is almost completely unposed wedding photography throughout your wedding day. I want you to spend time with your friends and family and ignore me. I am a really laid back and relaxed wedding photographer that will capture your wonderful day as it happens, with minimal fuss and no waiting around.
If you are getting married in Carden Park then please get in contact to discuss me being your wedding photographer.
