Thornton Manor - Waterside Pavilion Wedding Photography

Thornton Manor is a magical lakeside wedding venue, with a dazzling array of spaces set in 120 acres of grounds. From the phenomenal Elizabethan Manor House to the Lakeside Marquee, wonderful Waterside Pavilion and impressive Walled Garden, this is a romantic, luxurious location that offers endless choice.

Samantha & Jonny’s Wedding at The Waterside Pavilion

The day started off at Samantha’s parents house with Jenny Crawford & Charlie Moglione on hair and make up. Samantha was soon in her wedding dress from Liverpool Bridal Boutique. It was such a fun and relaxed morning with everyone. I also headed over to see the groom with his best man and ushers getting ready and enjoying a drink in the garden, everyone then made their way to the beautiful All Saints Church in Childwall. After the newlyweds tied the knot Love and Carriage and a beautiful  Vintage bus took everyone to the wonderful Waterside Pavilion at Thornton Manor.

With some garden games, reception drinks and beautiful surroundings this wedding was brilliant from start to finish. Sweet pea and Ivy and decorated the pavilion beautifully and you could tell the effort that the couple had made to make this day brilliant.

The speeches were fantastic and Jonny’s brother and also best man was hilarious and gave a great speech. We went off for some relaxed portraits around the grounds which was fantastic. Jonny and Samantha really did have a fantastic day and the evening was no different, everyone had a fantastic night at the Waterside Pavilion and I was so pleased to be part of their wedding photographer at Thornton Manor Lakeside Marquee.

What the Bride & Groom said about Andy Griffiths Photography as a Waterside Marquee Wedding Photographer

“First of all we would like to say a huge thank you to Andy for photographing our wedding! We both really appreciate everything you did for us in the run up to the wedding and on the wedding day it’s self. Our pictures are amazing and proof we chose the best photographer – I don’t think I’ve stopped looking at them since we got them!

For me choosing the right photographer was the most important part of the wedding planning. We knew we wanted some traditional pictures but most importantly we wanted to spend our day with our guests not ‘posing’ for hours on end. As soon as we met Andy we knew he was the photographer for us – he put us both as ease straight away and knew exactly what we wanted. We booked Andy just less than 3 years before the wedding and I’m so glad we did – our pictures are absolutely incredible! From the moment Andy turned up at my house until he left our wedding we felt completely relaxed around him. His relaxed and unobtrusive style meant we spent the day with our guests hardly noticing he was there – some of our guests didn’t even know we had a photographer, but by looking at our fantastic pictures he was all over the place and didn’t miss a thing.

Thank you so much for capturing our day from start to finish, including those moments we missed. We will most certainly be recommending you!”
