A Church Ceremony with Heart

I started the day with Sam and his groomsmen whilst they were getting ready – I can easily sort both preps on a wedding morning and It adds a lot to the story. Once leaving the groomsmen I headed to the bride who was getting ready at home with her bridesmaids and mum. It was a really fun morning and after a couple of reveals and some last minute touch up’s of make up it was time to head to church.

Chavonne and Sam had their service at Sam’s family church in Liverpool – a personal and meaningful setting for their ceremony. After saying their I dos surrounded by loved ones, they headed outside for confetti and hugs before getting ready to party.

Party Bus to One Fine Day Liverpool

Straight after the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests hopped on a party bus and set off for One Fine Day in Liverpool city centre. It was loud, lively, and exactly the kind of wedding transport that gets the celebrations going early. Music, dancing and a few drinks before arrival? Awesome!

If you’re heading to your own One Fine Day Liverpool wedding reception, this is a brilliant way to keep the momentum going and get set the standard for the day.

One Fine Day Liverpool is a venue that knows how to impress. It’s got tall ceilings, huge windows, and the kind of natural light photographers dream of. Chavonne and Sam arrived off the party bus to blue skies and sunshine – the courtyard space was ideal for drinks and canapés outside with their guests.

Everyone kicked back, enjoyed the weather, and soaked in that post-ceremony buzz. Before long, we slotted in a few relaxed group photos and a short portrait session with the couple, all without taking them away from the fun for long.

We kept couple photos short and easy. A little walk on a cool little side street. a lot of laughter, and zero awkward posing. Just how it should be.

The groomsmen wanted a some photos with some smoke bombs so they sorted that and I captured what happened.

Inside, the venue looked stunning. The bright and open space worked perfectly for speeches, which had just the right amount of humour, emotion, and mild roasting.

The wedding breakfast was served shortly after and One Fine Day’s team, as always, delivered a top-notch meal that had everyone smiling and well-fed, ready for the evening ahead.

Francesqua was on vocals for the evening entertainment and she absolutely smashed it. Her performance had guests singing along, getting on the dancefloor, and loving every second. There’s something about live music that takes the evening atmosphere to another level, and this was no exception.

If you’re thinking about entertainment options for your One Fine Day Liverpool wedding, booking a solo vocalist like Francesqua is a great choice.

The evening party was packed all night. From the first dance onwards, the floor didn’t stay empty for a second. Big tunes, big energy, and guests throwing themselves into the celebrations without holding back. A proper party with no let-up.

There’s no doubt that Chavonne and Sam’s One Fine Day Liverpool wedding will be one their guests talk about for a long time.

Words cannot even give Andy justice. From the moment we met Andy on a video call a few years ago, we knew instantly that we wanted to book him as our wedding photographer. He is a genuinely GREAT guy who gives so much time and attention to you and also is so down to earth which makes you and your wedding guests feel so at ease around him.

From start to finish, Andy was always in the background, not interrupting or getting in anyones way and he was extremely professional throughout the entire day. From us all getting ready together, through to joining us on the party bus from the church to the venue and then at the venue (even when we arrived 30 minutes late), Andy brought the energy and you can see his passion for photography really shone through.

Andy not only was our photographer for the day but felt like a friend who we could all bounce off as his positive energy was infectious and made everyone feel relaxed around him, even the people that are usually camera shy.

When we received our photos last week, we were truly blown away. Andy knew that both me and my husband weren’t posey people and we loved seeing all the candid and natural shots he took throughout the day. We have gone through the photo album countless times in the past 5 days and each time we shed a tear as the album makes us relive the day and tells the story from start to finish. It truly was a magical day for us both and now we can have Andy’s beautiful pictures as a keepsake forever. It is an album that we will continually revisit and show our kids one day.

Andy – we are eternally grateful and we hope to catch you for a drink soon as we feel like we’ve made a friend for life.
