Tanya & Neil’s wedding at Mottram Hall
I started the day with Tanya & her bridesmaids in the Reynolds suite which is a perfect space for bridal prep on the morning of the wedding. It was such a fun and relaxed morning, I went to meet Neil & his groomsmen in the morning as they landed in style via a helicopter – then it was time for a quick drink in the bar before greeting guests and heading down to the St Andrew’s Suit to wait for his stunning bride.
The ceremony was lovely and the bride and all her bridesmaids looked stunning, the groomsmen looked alright as well….
A helicopter ride before the drinks reception
After the newlyweds completed the formalities it was time for the drinks reception, and whilst the guests all enjoyed themselves having a drink in the garden room and out the back on the patio, the bride & groom (and I) headed off for 10 minutes on a little helicopter flight, it was my first experience on a helicopter and it was awesome. Such a cool thing for a wedding!
It was soon time for speeches and the wedding breakfast, the groom, father of bride, best man all gave great speeches and the bride also gave a speech which was great. I always love it when a bride gives a speech – stuff traditions!
Evening party at Mottram Hall
After a little time to relax, freshen up and some sunset couples portraits before the evening reception it was then time for cutting of the cake and first dance. With a lot more guests arriving for the evening you knew this was going to be a good night. I love photographing wedding receptions at Mottram Hall and today was no different.
Congratulations to you both and I hope you had the best wedding and all the best for the future.
