I am delighted to share this Foxtail Barns Wedding photos blog. Jessica and Lewis’ Foxtail Barns wedding in Staffordshire was one of those days that had it all – sunshine, a great party atmosphere, and a seriously good team of suppliers helping things run smoothly. The day was fun, relaxed and full of genuine moments, just how weddings should be.
They tied the knot indoors followed by drinks, canapés, and confetti in the outdoor courtyard under glorious blue skies. It really made Foxtail Barns Wedding photos a joy to capture.
A bit about Foxtail Barns
Foxtail Barns is one of Staffordshire’s newer venues, but it’s already made a name for itself as a top wedding location – and for good reason. It’s part of the Best Day Ever group, the same people behind Pendrell Hall and The Ashes Barns, so you know you’re in safe hands from the start.
Set in the grounds of the privately owned Consall Hall Estate, Foxtail Barns offers couples the best of both worlds – a purpose-built modern venue surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside. Which make for incredible Foxtail Barns Wedding Photos. The ceremony space is a converted barn with full-length windows and high ceilings, perfect for couples wanting a stylish indoor ceremony with loads of natural light. The Party Barn next door is where the celebrations continue, and it’s designed to flow perfectly for food, speeches and a packed-out dance floor.
The whole venue is exclusive-use, so you’re not sharing your big day with anyone else. You also get access to the onsite accommodation at The Tawny Hotel, which adds another layer of convenience for you and your guests. Foxtail Barns may be relatively new to the wedding scene, but it’s already proving to be a firm favourite – and after Jessica and Lewis’ day, it’s easy to see why. I really enjoy working at Foxtail Barns and love creating fun, non boring Foxtail Barns Wedding Photos.
The morning of the wedding
Jessica got ready on-site in the bridal prep room with her bridesmaids around her. It’s a great space – calm, bright, and perfect for hair, makeup, and a pre-ceremony toast or two. Meanwhile, Lewis and his groomsmen got ready at a near by hotel and then arrived ready to go, looking sharp and relaxed, and more than up for a great day ahead.
The ceremony
The couple chose to have their ceremony inside the stunning room at Foxtail. With the big windows letting in the sunlight and the room styled beautifully by Lasting Memories by Alison, the space looked incredible. I’ve worked with Alison many times at different venues, and she always delivers. She really knows how to elevate a space without overdoing it, and this wedding was no exception. Making my job of capturing gorgeous Foxtail Barns wedding Photos easy!
Jessica and Lewis’ ceremony was full of laughter, nerves, and a few emotional moments. A perfect wedding!
Drinks, canapés, and confetti
After the formalities, the party kicked off in the courtyard. The weather was spot-on, which meant everyone could enjoy drinks and canapés outside. It also gave us the perfect setting for the confetti moment and they absolutely nailed it. A solid throw, plenty of colour and everyone having a great time.
A magician and master of ceremonies in one
Keeping everyone entertained throughout the day was the one and only Sam Fitton. Sam was both host and magician, and if you’ve ever seen him at a wedding, you’ll know just how good he is. From the moment guests arrived until the dancefloor opened, he was on top form – hilarious, engaging and mind-blowingly good at close-up magic.
He brings great energy to a wedding without ever taking over – exactly what you want from someone guiding the day. From announcements to interactive magic, he helped keep the momentum going and made sure there were no dull moments. I’ve seen a lot of magicians at weddings, and Sam is absolutely top tier. He really makes it easy for capturing Foxtail Barns Wedding photos.
Foxtail Barns Wedding Photos
For me Foxtail Barns Wedding Photos are easy, the venue is incredible and with the drinks flowing and everyone in good spirits, we took some time for a handful of group shots before heading off for couple portraits. Foxtail Barns has loads of great spots for photos – from the leafy paths and garden backdrops to the quiet areas around the estate. We kept it relaxed, as always. No stiff posing, just the two of them having a laugh, enjoying a few moments together before heading back to join their guests.
The evening party
Jessica and Lewis had planned their day perfectly – good food, great entertainment, and the right mix of chilled-out moments and full-on fun. Once the evening kicked off, it didn’t take long before the dancefloor was bouncing and the drinks were flowing.
Foxtail Barns is designed for a good party, and the evening didn’t disappoint.
What the Bride & Groom said about Andy
The first thing we did after booking our wedding venue was book Andy.. his work really does speak for itself but we honestly feel he is so much more than a photographer. He was vital in helping us plan the day we wanted.
From the minute we booked him he gave us the best advice and recommendations.. always had time for any queries and was generally just a good laugh whenever you chat to him. He knows so much about the industry, suppliers and venues that his suggestions are always brilliant – trust him! He really does want to help you have the best day possible.
Our other suppliers had nothing but amazing things to say about him which I think speaks volumes in this industry. He has a great work ethic and managed to blend into our day seamlessly whilst getting everything we asked for. We didn’t miss half of our day taking pictures but we still got the shots!
He was wonderful with our 4 year old son on the day, patient and fun which helped us get some amazing pictures of him that we really didn’t think we’d get! The candid shots he took with my parents before the ceremony are some of my favourites and I will treasure them forever.
Finally I wanted to mention that Andy went above and beyond for us, outsourcing some photo editing to ensure we had a special photo with a family member who passed away suddenly a week after our wedding. He did this off his own back and it meant world. It really goes to show what an amazing bloke he is.
Book him you will not regret it. We are so grateful for everything. Thank you so much.
